Incase Revamps Existing Site, Switching to SIDE-Commerce Platform
Recognized globally for their protective solutions, Incase strives to bring a better experience through good design – and wanted a site that embraced their stance.
Prior to upgrading to SIDE-Commerce from Magento Enterprise, Incase faced a number of challenges with usability, performance and managing their content. Updates small and large were managed by outside developers and the process proved to be inflexible and impractical. Incase required a platform that gave their team complete control and would scale with them as they grew and adapted to their large, varied product line.
The new site, located at goincase.com, proved to go beyond Incase’s expectation. Adding an intuitive UI and giving brand managers command over content were key factors in boosting sales for Incase. SIDE-Commerce’s detailed dashboard showed substantial increases in conversions and revenue, especially during the incredibly busy Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping periods. Responsive design, included with every SIDE-Commerce package, is quickly demonstrating a steady rise in Incase’s mobile and tablet business.
“The best part of switching to SIDE-Commerce is we can now focus on our business and not on making the site work,” states Vice President of Sales and ecommerce for Incase, Joe Richardson. Referring to the intricate integration of their ERP inventory system, SIDE-Commerce was successful in connecting the stock database providing two-way communication for orders, customer migration, pricing updates and catalog management.
Incase is currently working with Side Studios on additional enhancements to their e-commerce website and unique new functionality for 2015.
