With high expectations of bringing their vision to life, Amuse Society needed a solution that balanced both the high-end fashion brands with the endemic swim/surf market. Attractive product imagery was supplied and required a clever way to convey their brand essence. In addition, Amuse Society wanted to gain an understanding of their new customer base and required ways to engage with them more effectively, while achieving customer retention.
Finally, it was crucial that the company’s “Amuse Society”, a diverse group of women who embody the brand’s philosophy, were emphasized and encompassed within the platform.
Solution
SIDE-Commerce was the perfect outlet for Amuse Society to gain a window into their target market’s preferences. Designed to quickly grasp the eye of customers and keep them attentive, the product wall featured must-haves, instant alternate views and suggested pairings to complete the look. If a specific item was out of stock, customers had the option of choosing to be notified (via email address) when that item was back in stock.
A Society page was built within the platform to feature the company’s muses – a diverse group of women who represent all shades of creative expression, ranging form art and design, to music and philanthropy. Each muse was able to thoroughly express their points of view via interviews, social links, images and favored products within the collection.
The new multi-functional platform proved to be a success, favored by both the Amuse Society team and their rapidly growing following.
